For our client in BASEL we are looking for a SCIENTIST WITH EXPERIENCE IN PROTEIN PURIFICATION for a 12-MONTH contract.
DURATION: 01/09/2018 TO 31/08/2019
LOCATION: BASEL
WORKLOAD: 100%
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- The successful candidate will support downstream purification process development through design, execution, process transfer and troubleshooting.
- He/she will be responsible for executing laboratory-scale experiments related to late phase downstream process development and sampling logistics in support of this effort.
- This individual will work independently and under guidance to accomplish project goals within specified timelines.
- The successful candidate will have the opportunity to analyze process performance at pilot scale and to develop a wide knowledge of biologics manufacturing and the science behind the processes as well as the regulations that govern the industry.
THE PERFECT CANDIDATE'S PROFILE:
- BS/MS in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related disciplines
- Relevant professional training and experience in the area of protein purification
- Demonstrated flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication, technical writing, collaboration, and data management skills
