MY DUTIES:

- The focus of the group is on the areas of mechanistic enzymology, including development of cell-free biochemical assays for lead identification, mode of action analyses and profiling for of small molecule enzyme modifiers
- Characterize drug targets with biochemical and mechanistic enzymology assays
- Design and develop quantitative biochemical assays for High Throughput Screening and analysis of mode of action analysis of small molecule inhibitors
- Ensure appropriate data quality, consistency, availability and timely delivery to project teams

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- MSc, or BSc (PhD is also fine) or vocational training and professional experience as equivalent, experience in lead discovery in pharma, biotech or contract research organizations preferred
- Experience in biochemical assay development using various readouts and their applications to protein characterization, lead finding, compound profiling during lead identification
- Knowledge of quantitative analysis of biochemical assay data
- Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm to work within and across teams
