Scientist - Laboratory Technician

SCIENTIST - LABORATORY TECHNICIAN - ISO13485/QSR IMPLEMENTATION/PCR/STERILE TECHNIQUE/STATISTIC

Project/Role:
For one of our clients we are looking for a Scientist/laboratory technician with excellent knowledge of diagnostic tests, laboratory routine. The role is a contract position for 6 months (with strong possibility of extension) close to Lucerne, Switzerland.

Main Tasks:
- Data analysation and preparation of reports
- Author official documents (eg Design History Files)
- Participates in routine lab maintenance, lab safety, ISO, and QSR implementation
- Track laboratory inventory (eg equipment, supplies, specimens, raw materials, reagents)
- Plan and execute different work packages for the development of diagnostic tests according to ISO 13485

Skills/Requirements:
- Lab training (chemistry, biochemistry or equivalent
- Basic understanding of molecular/microbiology and biochemical concepts (eg PCR, sterile technique, calculations)
- Team player with open mind, work diligently
- Respectful, used to work in multicultural environment, professional
- Standard Office Programs
- Statistical analysis

Education:
- Apprenticeship, higher technical school or bachelor

Language:
- English - good
- German - good
