SENIOR SCIENTIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Summit, NJ.

Top Skills Should You Possess:
- HPLC
- Dissolution testing
- GC
- LC-MS

What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide leadership to scientific staff in method development and validation for the analysis of API and drug products in accordance with cGMP regulations, established protocols, and all applicable SOPs.
- Develop, optimize and validate analytical methods
- Qualify/transfer analytical methodology to quality control or contract laboratories
- Support drug product development and characterization of drug substances and impurities
- Assist analytical project team leader to meet CMCDT deliverables
- Require hands-on involvement in the laboratory
- Prepare and review documents and reports

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Completed MS in Chemistry (or relevant discipline) and minimum of eight (8) years of pharmaceutical laboratory experience required; or
- Completed Ph.D. in Chemistry (or relevant discipline) and minimum of five (5) years of pharmaceutical laboratory experience required.
- Working knowledge of cGMP, FDA and ICH guidance
- Familiar with USP, and other compendia
- Extensive hands-on experience and knowledge with HPLC, Dissolution testing, GC and LC-MS
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills as a team player and be willing to work in an environment where individual initiative, accountability to the team, and professional integrity are required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A comprehensive knowledge in chemistry and pharmaceutical sciences
