SCIENTIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Ridgefield, Connecticut.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Laboratory experience
- Molecular assays
- Western blots
- Laboratory notebook maintenance

What You'll Be Doing:
- Performing in vitro molecular and cellular experiments aimed at understanding signal transduction in multiple cell types.
- General laboratory skills such as making solutions, dilutions
- Record keeping and maintenance of laboratory notebook
- Maintenance of tissue culture cell lines and cell transfection
- Immunoprecipitations, Western blots
- Quantitation of proteins using ELISA assays
- Analysis of gene expression using qPCR
- Development of molecular assays and subsequent compound profiling

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BA or BS degree in the biological sciences
- Prior laboratory experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with occasional supervision
- Good record keeping and maintenance of laboratory notebook
