For our client in BASEL we are looking for a SCIENTIST IN (BIO-)ANALYTICAL DEVELOPMENT for a 12-MONTH contract.
DURATION: 02/07/2018 TO 01/07/2019
LOCATION: BASEL
WORKLOAD: 100%
BACKGROUND:
As part of a bioanalytical group within biologics technical development, you will be responsible for the analysis and characterization of cell and gene therapy products in early phase clinical development.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independent development and execution of methods for the determination of biological activity (potency) and purity
- Data evaluation and documentation
- Virus titration assays, qPCR, FACS, other cell-based assays, ELISA
- Technical organization of a laboratory, reporting to the laboratory head
PERFECT CANDIDATE'S PROFILE:
- University degree, apprenticeship or equivalent in biology/biochemistry with a strong background in cell biology
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with virus titration assays, qPCR, FACS, cell-based assays and/or immunological assays
- Experience in working with BL-2 products is desirable
- Good knowledge of English
- German is desirable
