SCIENTIST II needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in BOSTON, MA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

* ELISA
* Western Blot
* Analysis of Assays

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

* You will be establishing higher throughput, innovative methods for broad protein profiling and apply these to client's Research & Development programs in understanding disease processes, the effects of potential therapeutic molecules on disease, and in translational medicine biomarker discovery and validation.
* Work as a member of the small Protein Profiling team, applying protein profiling capabilities to analysing biological samples for its current projects, under daily supervision by experienced team members.
* You will also be involved in developing and qualifying new assays with technology platforms. Perform experimental design, data analysis and presentation of results at the weekly Protein Profiling team lab meeting/project team meetings

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

* Bachelors degree in the Life Sciences (biochemistry, analytical biochemistry, biology or related field)

Required skills and experience:

* Experience with cell culture
* At least 2 years experience working in a research laboratory running analytical assays (ELISA, Western Blot, Luminex)
* Strong attention to detail, analytical and data analysis skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong team player

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Previous Biopharmaceutical experience.
