Scientist for Exploratory Data Analysis and Statistics

Harvey Nash is looking for a Scientist for Exploratory Data Analysis and Statistics for a 4 + month project in Switzerland.

The role is for a candidate to perform exploratory and confirmatory statistical analysis of big sensor data collected from smartphones and other wearables in clinical trials to discover digital biomarkers required to assess drug efficacy.

You are responsible for

- Analyzing big data sets
- Data visualization

Requirements

- +5 years of experience with analysing big data sets, data visualization
- Excellent analytical and "scientific communication" skills
- Profound experience with analysing biomedical and sensor data
- Deep knowledge in MS Office, R, Python, Matlab or similar software packages/languages
- Software development and big data infrastructures
- Fluent in English and one additional language
- Self-starting team player
- Very good university degree in statistics, mathematics or a natural science
- Project-based work experience in the pharmaceutical industry/consulting preferred
- PhD is preferred
