Scientist - Biomarker Development

We are looking for a motivated scientist, extensively experienced in flow cytometry and ligand binding assays to be part of the Molecular and Cellular Sciences group within Biomarker Development.

Responsibilities:

- Development and validation of innovative cellular and soluble biomarker assays
- Special focus on flow cytometry (eg CANTOII, Fortessa), ligand binding assays (ELISA, MSD, Luminex) and other state of the art technologies.
- Implementation (sample measurement and data transfer) of validated biomarker assays in clinical studies.
- Providing subject matter expertise to transition, implement and monitor assay development and validation at CROs
- Ensuring quality timely delivery of data generated through outsourced activities
- Independent experimental design, execution, interpretation and reporting (oral and written) of assigned projects with minimal supervision.
- Contribute to writing quality reports and laboratory manuals.
- Cross training on a variety of biomarker modalities and technologies.

Requirements:
. 5+ year in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment
. Extensive understanding, knowledge and practical experience in flow cytometry, ligand binding assays and other related technologies
. Basic knowledge in immunology and/or cell biology
. Analytical thinking, willingness to accept responsibility and strong teamwork skills
. Experience working in a global organizational and resourcing model
. Good Computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Softmax pro, DIVA)
. Good communication skills in English, oral and written
