Scientist/Associate Scientist for Protein Analytics

Harvey Nash is looking for a Scientist/Associate Scientist for protein analytics for an 8 month project in Switzerland.

You are responsible for:

. providing analytical support for biopharmaceutical protein development projects by using modern physico-chemical test methods such as HPLC, CE, peptide mapping, cIEF and spectroscopy.
. developing analytical test methods and perform analytical characterization programs for materials intended for pre-clinical and clinical use
. planning and performing the analysis and evaluating and documenting the results
. qualifying analytical methods according standard operating procedures

Requirements

. Laboratory technician training or equivalent, or diploma with specialization in analytical chemistry
. Experience in protein analytics and characterization and preferably 1-2 years of experience in instrumental analytics (eg chromatography, electrophoresis, spectroscopy)
. The strengths include critical and objective interpretation of results and scientific information
. Good organizational and team skills, and good knowledge of English and MS Office software
