Scientist with profound knowledge of laboratory technician analytics wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Prior experience as a Scientist or Laboratory Technician in analytics - alternatively a Master degree in a relevant science discipline such as chemistry or biochemistry
- Profound background in the field of GC/MS and/or HPLC-UV/MS
- Excellent technical and IT knowledge coupled with good organisational and communication skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Working in a Laboratory which provides analytical support for biopharmaceutical protein development projects by assisting different interfaces, such as formulation/development, manufacturing and physico-chemical analytics
- Maintaining sample preparation such as incubation of materials and work up of extracts
- Analysing extracts using various chromatographic techniques
- Evaluating qualitative and quantitative results as well as contributing to reports under the supervision of the lab head
- Taking care of the maintenance of the lab equipment coupled with troubleshooting
