Scientist with profound knowledge of biopharmaceuticals wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Master's Degree or equivalent education in Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering or related field
- Practical experience in unit operations development for the purification of biopharmaceuticals including chromatography, filtration and ultrafiltration
- Experience with protein- and instrumental analytics like HPLC, preferably in an industrial setting
- Ability to apply principles of biochemistry and biochemical engineering to process development problems
- Knowledge of Unicorn for Äkta and Chromeleon is a plus
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Working on the development and scale-up of technologies like purification processes for GMP manufacturing of a wide range of protein pharmaceuticals
- Collaborating with a team for the development of separations such as chromatography, filtration and ultrafiltration
- Performing experiments and supporting the analytics to address early stage problems in the development projects
- Planning, designing and performing experiments that result in scientifically sound conclusions and well-supported recommendations to project teams
- Ensuring the optimal use of time and available resources
