A pharmaceutical company in the San Francisco bay area is looking for a Scientist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting, growing company.
The Scientist will aid in the hands-on execution of Lentivirus production including transfer vector DNA isolation, packaging cell line transfection, virus collection, concentration and titration. Assist in research experiments using said lentiviruses. The Scientist will aid in growth and maintainance of multiple cell cultures and primary tumor 3-D cultures. The Scientist requires exceptional laboratory skills with extensive experience in working with research grade virus such as lentivirus, retroviruses, adenovirus or AAV under BSL2 biocontainment condition. Experience with 3-D cell culture systems is a plus. BS or above required.
