Scientific Research Associate - Lab Technician

On behalf of our major Pharma client, Harvey Nash is urgently looking for a Scientific Associate/Laboratory technician for a 3 months project in Basel (Switzerland)

PROJECT FOCUS

- The main focus would be siRNA mediated gene knockdown experiments in cellular models, optimizing transfection conditions, monitoring gene expression level and correlating with functional assays readouts.
- The candidate will report to the toxicity signalling pathways labhead and will interact closely with colleagues in other research groups

Requirements

- University degree in cell biology/biochemistry/molecular biology or apprenticeship as a laboratory technician
- Mandatory: Working experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular biology/gene expression analysis
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team, independent and accurate working style, critical problem-solving abilities
- Project overview

Duration: until 19.01.13
