Scientific Operations Coordinator

Harvey Nash is looking for a Scientific Operations Coordinator in Biologics for a 6 + month project in Switzerland.

The role is for a candidate to support a department of around 100 associates within Biologics Technical Development and Manufacturing.

You are responsible for:

. Forecasting and planning external costs (eg for purchase and maintenance of lab equipment, lab reagents, lab consumables and travel expenses)
. Initiating, monitoring and controlling planned expenses, orders and invoices in the department's SAP system
. Supporting the department's budget planning cycle, as well as a monthly evaluation of actuals vs. forecasted costs

Requirements

. As well as a scientific background, excellent planning skills and a precise and organized working style, you will also need good communication skills and the ability to deal with multiple customers in parallel.
. Education and/or experience in life sciences; education and/or experience in financial controlling and support
. Very good Excel skills; working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
. Excellent team and communication skills
. Sound knowledge of English and German
. Scientific and finance/controlling experience
