Scientific Database Developer and Modeller, Python, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Switzerland.
Our client, a major international organisation based in Lausanne, is looking for a Database Developer/Modeller with experience of Datamodelling in a scientific environment. An expert in modelling techniques (E/R modelling, XML schema design, data-mart, Ontology Design).
You will be required to produce data models for scientific data such as clinical data, genetic, genomic or proteomic and be used to working with standard biological exchange formats such as CDISC, Ontology or MIAME.
You will you also be responsible for the integration of scientific visualisation tools such as R, Matlab and Spotfire.
Software development expertise in Java, Spring, MVC or Python and knowledge in MySQL, Postegre and Oracle databases.
Due to the urgency of this role, we are only able to accept applications from candidates based in Switzerland or the European Union.
