Scientific Associate/Sample Manager (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Perform experiments and procedures requiring specific scientific or technical knowledge and laboratory techniques according to input from supervisor
- Document own experiment in lab notebook (including tables, graphs…)
- Provide basic data analysis and may provide assistance in design of next experiment
- Present results to supervisor and may present to lab at project meetings
- Maintain awareness of and provide recommendations on standard laboratory tools and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of laboratory instructions/guidelines for department, where appropriate
- Ensure tracking of PCS samples, using STS if applicable
- Ensure reception/shipment of biological materials to support QL2 studies and perform Quality Control and report any issues to the consignee
- Ensure availability of STS labels in due time to requestor (CRO or internal)

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- BS or MS or equivalent in scientific discipline with appropriate experience in drug discovery or other related laboratory research
- Know-how of laboratory procedures, instrumentation and data processing
- Demonstrate working knowledge of relevant HSE policies and procedures (e.g. laboratory and personal protective equipment), animal welfare
- Experience and knowledge in biological sample shipment procedures and guidelines. (IATA regulations, import and export permits applications including CITES permits, etc...)
