SCIENTIFIC ASSOCIATE I needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Holly Springs, NC.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- HPLC
- UPLC
- Protein Analysis methods

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Understands characterization of proteins and expertise in assay development and execution in support of vaccine process and product development programs. (HPLC/UPLC, gel electrophoresis, ELISA).
- Understands data collection and reporting in area of responsibility.
- Implements new processes with minimal bureaucracy and a focus on efficiency.
- Performs tasks with minimal supervision.
- Reviews and/or authors laboratory documentation.
- Candidate will need to have a sense of urgency and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- The qualified candidate must be able to effectively partner with diverse team members from various functions, multiple countries and members at various levels in the organization.
- Must be able execute experiments independently.
- Solves complex problems through analytical thinking to identify and understand alternatives using knowledge gained through formal education, experience and sound judgment

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS with 4+ years or MS with 1+ year of laboratory experience in biotechnology or the biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical industry.
- Degree must be in a scientific discipline.
- Hands on experience on HPLC/UPLC, electrophoresis, immunoassay and other protein analysis methods are required for the position.
- Able to work independently and take scientific direction from senior scientists.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
