For our Life Science client in Zug, we are seeking a Scientific Affairs Associate
Start Date: 1st August 2016
End Date: 30th April 2017

Job Responsibilities.
First-round editing, proof-reading, formatting, basic literature & information searches.
Leads training for affiliates and HQ staff in reference management and publications systems.
Develops congress posters and manages printing by agencies.
Facilitates Final Publication Approval (FPA) comment-only review of Investigator Sponsored Study (ISS) publications
Responsibilities.
Reference & information searches and collation, obtaining copyright permissions for figure/table reproduction.
Accurate and intelligent first-round editing of affiliate and external publications.
Proof-reading, styling/formatting, copy-editing, data QC-ing of scientific publications and Health Technology Assessment submission documents.
Publication submission to journals/congresses (if requested by authors).
Complete layout, drawing and editing of congress posters and figures.
Facilitates FPA comment-only review of all ISS publications.
Liaises with printers, authors and Publication Managers to coordinate print/collection/shipping of congress posters and mini copies.
Leads cross-functional affiliate/EU HQ staff training/onboarding, and provides ongoing support, in reference management and client publications systems.
Submits affiliate publications for FPA and updates publication records in CAPTURE.
Runs reports and liaises with counterparts in Thousand Oaks to provide information/metrics on publications.
Audits and updates EU HQ CAPTURE records.
Submits and tracks English-language publications through Copyright Law review.
Maintains details of primarily EU Payer requirements for publications.
Inputs into development and roll-out of revised electronic publications systems.
Complies with client publication policy/practices
Your Experience:
2+ years in pharmaceutical industry
2+ years edit/proof-reading, ideally in pharmaceutical industry
Fluency in English
Project Management experience
MS Office, Powerpoint, Excel, Adobe Illustrator
Plus Skills:
Scientific/technical editing skills
Experience in multicultural environment
Experience using publication systems
