Job Summary:

Minimum 3 month contract to start ASAP paying competitive hourly rate

Job Accountabilities:

To deliver internal and external clinical support for the product portfolio. To be the key contact person for medical information for Clients UK's brands. To advise on and take day to day responsibility with the key promoted Brands working closely with Medical and Marketing colleagues To work effectively and alongside the Medical Advisor in providing a technical review of promotional materials and advising on Code compliance issues where necessary. To provide clinical support internally (training) and externally (at advisory boards) demonstrating high level clinical understanding. The Scientific Advisor will be expected to have a full command and understanding of all necessary regulatory guidelines and standard operating procedures. The Scientific Advisor will also be responsible for maintaining his/her own clinical knowledge and in doing so ensure that key information is communicated throughout Client UK accurately and in a timely manner

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

A degree must be gained in one or more of the following disciplines: nursing, pharmacy or the pharmaceutical/life sciences

Experience of working in similar medicines/medical information type roles, clinical research role or other similar role where there is strong evidence of healthcare professional interactions.

Competent user of Microsoft Office software products

Must have proven experience of the ABPI Code of practice and involvement in the copy approval process

Ability to quickly and comprehensively learn about new therapy areas and environments.

Knowledge of the UK National Healthcare System and the pharmaceutical industry.

Desirable -

Experience of working in the CV market

Working experience of pharmacovigilance regulations

Knowledge of clinical trial design and process.

Advanced presentation skills
