School Travel Advisor

Capita, the UK's leading Business Process Outsourcing are looking to recruit a number of School Travel Advisor to work in a new Public Sector Joint Venture based in North London. We have opportunities for both temporary and permanent staff to join us with immediate starts available.

Capita are looking to appoint experienced School Travel Advisors to support the Borough's Travel Plan Coordinator in the development, implementation, review and monitoring of School Travel Plans and STARS (Sustainable Travel; Active, Responsible, Safe) Accreditation in the Borough. The successful candidate will be responsible for the liaison and support for a proportion of the Borough's schools and will assist the Coordinator with initiatives that promote safer and more sustainable travel to children/ young people and their families as well as to school staff and other parts of the school community. Promotion of the School Travel Plan programme and road safety messages to a range of stakeholders will also be part of your role.

You must have excellent written and communication skills as well as good numeracy skills.
