School Improvement Adviser/Early Years Adviser

SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT ADVISER/EARLY YEARS ADVISER, LONDON, CONTACT (3 DAYS PER WEEK)

My Local Authority client are looking for a School Improvement Adviser to lead the Early Years Team.

Your role within the Local Authority will be to:

- Provide strategic and professional challenge, monitoring, intervention, advice and brokerage to children centres, settings (including independent schools with EYFS), schools and colleges.
- Develop, implement and evaluate high quality leadership, management and provision in order to improve outcomes for all children, pupils and students and narrow any achievement gap.

Provide strategic oversight, co-ordination and the operational management of one of the core areas of team work:

- Early Years and Childcare
- Monitoring and Challenge 5 -16
- Advice, support, brokerage and transition
- Work with children centres, childminders, setting, school and college staff through challenge, intervention, advice, support and effective brokerage to meet the needs of all pupils,
- Support the Head of School Improvement to ensure that all Bexley children centres, settings, schools and colleges achieve good or better overall effectiveness, are strong and improving institutions and provide good value for money.

In order to be considered you must be experience in both School Improvement and Early Years with a Qualified Teacher status. Experience as an Ofsted inspector would be desirable but not essential.
