Schematic Symbol Librarian

The SCHEMATIC SYMBOL LIBRARIAN will be part of team developing DxDesigner schematic symbols for a SoC debug platform. These symbols will adhere to the team defined BKM. The SoC debug platform is critical to the client's success and new market strategy. The schematic symbols created will be used in schematic design for the SoC debug platform.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work closely with other Librarians, Design Engineers and CAD Engineers to design schematic symbols.
- Design Engineers will submit schematic symbol part requests using ProjectSync.
- Review and build the symbol using the Mentor DxDesigner according to the librarian BKM.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of related work experience desired.

SKILLS:

- Board Design, Basic
- CAD, Basic
- ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, Basic
- MS Office Suite, Basic
- Schematics, Basic
- Familiarity with ProjectSync, DxDesigner, MS Excel, Cadence Allegro
- Attention to detail to follow BKM and correctly create schematic logic symbols
- Understanding of schematic library structures.
