Scheduler/Planner Specialist Job

SCHEDULER/PLANNER SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in HAYWOOD. CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment
- Operations, scheduling, and planning experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Utilize the SKU (product by location) level demand forecasts and orders to generate the SKU replenishment plans to control the physical distribution of the right finished product to the right location at the right time in the right quantity to meet the stated customer service levels while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
- Utilizes capacity analysis and customer service policies to govern schedules and inventory plans. Assistance for creating and implementing master scheduling time horizons and periods in accordance with business strategies and policies. May be responsible for master plans for single or multiple plants. Works with operations and unit managers, supervisors, material planners and schedulers.
- Support Distribution Requirements Planners and Schedulers
- Identify and resolve conflicts with supply and demand and available capacity for the CLT/MPS horizon
- Implement, execute, and maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS) policies to ensure stability and responsiveness.
- Interface assistance back to Master Planner and Asset Scheduler when required.
- Key interface with sales, demand management, customer service, marketing, engineering and production for the purpose of satisfying customer requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, business, or technical field. And/or
- APICS certification, and/or
- 5 years relevant experience
- Operations, scheduling, and planning experience
- Six Sigma Black Belt and/or certified Lean Practitioner
- Lean 3-day overview training (may be obtained on the job)
- SAP/APO/BW (or equivalent)
- Manufacturing Experience
