Scheduler

Sr. Scheduler needed for a long term contract opportunity in Houston, Tx. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in Scheduling and have been in a leadership role. The ability to provide critical path schedule analysis and analyze contractor schedules is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support the engineering and construction department through the development and continual maintenance of project schedules for capital expansion, transmission maintenance, and storage projects
- Identify and tracking all changes to the project scope, ensuring schedule impact is given necessary visibility with clients, both internal and external
- Participate in proposal development and reviews
- Develop and issue weekly and monthly schedule updates
- Analyze and approve subcontractor schedules from feasibility, through baseline development, to completion.
- Analyze contractor schedules and provide written schedule analysis to internal Project and Construction Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years experience in Project Scheduling
- Experience with pipeline engineering and construction, transmission maintenance, storage and/or HDD installation.
- Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Project as a scheduling software
- Willingness to travel (minimal) as necessary in support of the projects.
