Scheduler

IMMEDIATE NEED FOR a SENIOR PRIMAVERA SCHEDULER / PROJECTS CONTROLS with power generation technically related field or 10+ years of maintenance, engineering, planning or scheduling experience with 3+ years of primary focus experience in fossil generation environment. Work location is within Ohio. This is a long term contract assignment. Prefer local candidates but Per Diem will be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Basic responsibilities include, but are not limited to, establishing project cost control setup, develop project forecasting, budget monitoring and project cost control functions
- Provide weekly reports and memos of project issues and progress and accomplishments of project objectives and schedule deadlines
- Responsible for insuring the timely development and maintenance of status reports.
- Work closely with engineering, construction, and startup management team in development and maintenance of master schedules.
- Must have the ability to integrate other departments and contractor schedules into a master schedule and continuously monitor progress with milestones and project interface reliability.
- Support integration and schedule interface with cost management processes.

REQUIREMENTS

- Requires an Associate Degree in a power generation technically related field or 10+ years of maintenance, engineering, planning or scheduling experience with 3+ years of primary focus experience in fossil generation environment.
- Requires 5 Years of fossil plant experience preferred with 3 years minimal.
- Demonstrated experience using Primavera software solutions (P3e), Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Knowledge and experience in Project Controls including performance and cost management with knowledge of Earned Value Management.
- Must have a full understanding of a project lifecycle including all disciplines in engineering, procurement, construction, and startup.
- Develop, monitor and maintain multiple schedules using Primavera Enterprise version 6.0 or better and develop, implement and manage Weekly Update Reporting using Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
