SCCM - Virtual Machine Manager - Consultant

We are looking for a Full-time Virtual Machine Manager resource to work with the Solution Architect and  technical team to create server elements of  the detailed design Full-time Hyper-V VMM design and implement the required  solution.

Responsibilities include:
- Design for the VMM components of the solution
- Providing guidance on VMM for the design team as required
- To represent the design team in any meeting involving VMM
- Specific how and what needs to be measured relating to VMM during testing

The broad aims of the project are to:-

- Solve the problem of the aging, end of life/out of support infrastructure.
- Increased use of virtualisation and utilisation in both server and storage platforms across its Watford and Heathrow Data Centres.
- Increased integration and enhanced management capabilities in current  generation storage and server platforms.
- Delivery of enhanced services whilst reducing risk, cost, footprint, energy  utilisation and operational effort as well as impact to the business   through outages.
- Integration with existing  on-site support services.
