SCCM QA Engineer

SCCM QA ENGINEER MILPITAS, CA CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

JOIN THE COMPUCOM TEAM! We are looking for an SCCM QA Engineer.

Support Services:

1) System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) experience preferred for this position.

2) QA software packages using Application Test Plans with the goal of deploying high-quality packages with no client experience impacts due to flaws, bugs, errors, poor packaging, etc. correctly within the appropriate Image/OS as specified in the Packaging request and Test Plan.

(b) Test that the application package was packaged in accordance with Packaging standards.

(c) Test that the provided application package is able to completely install on supported hardware models on the standard Image/OS.

(d) Provide suggested updates to supplied specific test scripts, if appropriate.

(e) Collaborate in QA tests, if specifically requested by the client.

(f) Provide the identified single point of contact an estimate on expected time of release of the application package.

(g) Perform QA testing according to standard test plans for basic functionality tests, interoperability tests, network functionality tests as well as individual test plans for the specific application submitted.

4) Notify the identified single point of contact with the results of the QA test:

(a) For problems determined to be a result from a failure due to QA, remediate application packages as appropriate and reinitiate a follow-on QA test.

(b) For problems determined to be a result from a failure other than QA responsibility, await for direction on remediation actions (eg suspend QA test).

5) Record and log results of each QA test into a database listing the date/time, general comments, and declared results of the test.
