SCCM Desktop Engineer

We are currently looking for a strong SCCM desktop engineer to work on the global upgrade of SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012

You will have a mixture of responsibilities for SCCM and VDI. The role will involve engineering global solutions so requires an in-depth knowledge of the underlying product & Operating Systems. It also includes some third line support responsibilities and some client management tasks.

Experience required:
*You have over 3 years' experience in an engineering, design or third line support role with hands-on experience
*Experience in a large enterprise environment
*Strong documentation and communication skills
*Highly analytical in terms of incident and problem solving

Technical Knowledge required:
*Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007/2012
*Microsoft SQL Server - design, maintenance, report creation and query optimisation
*Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2
*Application & OS management, security and patching techniques
*Scripting (Powershell, VBScript, HTA)

A good and reasonable understanding in some areas below:
*Citrix XenDesktop
*OS Deployment
*1e NightWatchman and Nomad
*Application Packaging - InstallShield
*Application Virtualisation - App-V
