TECHNICAL SCANNER OPERATOR
Are you an experienced Scanner Operator with previous experience in handling and scanning of historical documents ? Do you have a historical affinity ? And are you searching for an exciting new opportunity within an NGO ? If so, please have a look at the following details:
Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for a Scanner Operator to join one of their clients, an NGO, based in Geneva.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will perform scanning activities of historical bound and unbound documents. You will be trained by a project leader onsite. You will work in a project team and report to the project leader. Your goal will be to achieve the highest quality possible.
TO DELIVER THE REQUIRED RESULTS, IT'S ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE:
- Computing knowledge (software use, Windows, Microsoft, scan software)
- Minimum 1 years' experience in handling and scanning of historical documents
- Knowledge of best practices of document handling for physical preservation
- Experience in automated processes
- Knowledge of library or archival software, background or equal
- Fluent in English, working knowledge of French
