SCALA AND/OR JAVA DEVELOPERS needed for a CONTRACT opportunity, who are expert in building large-scale applications, with Yoh's Client located in St Louis, Missouri.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Java Development - Expert
- SCALA ( 1-2 years) - Development or the desire to learn

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project.
- Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
- Codes, test, debug, documents, implement and maintain software applications.
- Analyzes requirements, and maintain, tests and integrate application components Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE.

- Five plus (5+) years of software development experience in distributed systems.
- Expert in building large-scale applications using Java and/or SCALA.
- Experience with AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra or other similar Big Data technologies.
- Strong communication, collaboration and mentoring skills.
- Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
