Scala Developer, Play Framework - Agile, BDD - London - Contract - UR

SCALA DEVELOPER, PLAY! FRAMEWORK - AGILE, BDD - LONDON - CONTRACT - URGENT

We are urgently looking for a strong Agile Scala Developer to join this established media company in London.

The successful Scala Developer will have commercial experience writing scalable web applications using Scala with Play! Framework in very strong Agile environments (TDD/BDD, Scrum, KanBan, XP, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment)

You will have ample experience developing RESTful web services, using NoSQL databases (such as DynamoDB or MongoDB) and developing cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services)

It would be desirable but not necessary to have experience with web technologies like JavaScript, CSS, cross-browser issues and XML technologies (XQuery would be great).
