Scala Developer - Play Framework, Agile, BDD - London - Contract

SCALA DEVELOPER - PLAY! FRAMEWORK, AGILE, BDD - LONDON - CONTRACT

We are looking for a strong Agile Scala Developer to join this established media company in London.

The successful Scala Developer will have commercial experience writing scalable web applications using Scala in very strong Agile environments (TDD/BDD, Scrum, KanBan, XP, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment) ideally deploying to the Cloud using AWS, Amazon Web Services (EC2/S3/SWF/ELB/CloudWatch/SNS/SQS).

This would be a good opportunity for an established Scala Developer but we would also consider a strong Java Developer with around 6 months experience in Java and looking to gain more commercial experience.

The Scala Developer will ideally have strong experience with Cucumber for BDD, JVM and MySQL. NoSQL database experience would be preferable but not needed (DynamoDB).
