Scala Developer Amsterdam

For the biggest multinational E-commerce platform based in Amsterdam I am looking for Scala Developers. In this big migration project you will contribute to the migration from Java towards Scala.

The candidate we are looking for has extensive experience in on-line or related areas, with at least 6+ years professional employment in his or her backpack. You have good knowledge of what it means to work with large and/or distributed systems. Furthermore, we need someone who lives and breathes Agile development and can focus on delivering.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Contribute to the team's work in the migration project with high-quality, well-tested and scalable code
- Collaborate with other team members and engineers
- Ensure code quality and maintainability

YOUR PROFILE:

- At least 1 year of Scala development
- Unix/Linux
- CI/CD
- Test Driven Development
- Agile Methodologies
- Affinity/experience with E-commerce
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent
