Scala Developer - AKKA, Cloud, Agile - Contract - London

SCALA DEVELOPER - AKKA, CLOUD, AGILE - CONTRACT - LONDON

We're looking for an experienced Agile Scala Developer to join a small team of Scala Developers working on a new greenfield project in London to help accelerate production.

The successful Scala Developer will have extensive experience building high volume, Real Time platforms using Scala and AKKA, and Cloud deployments (ideally AWS).

You must have strong experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, KanBan, Lean, XP) following TDD/BDD principals and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.

KEY SKILLS:

- Scala
- AKKA
- Kafka
- Cloud deployments (ideally using AWS)
- API design, HTTP principals
- Large scale, high volume, Real Time applications
- Agile (Scrum, KanBan, Lean, XP etc )
- TDD/BDD
- Strong communication, ability to work in a small fast paced team
