THE COMPANY
ConSol Partners' client is a leading global tech corporation scaling up within the renewable energy space. ConSol Partners' client are currently looking for a technical Scala Developer to join them at their brilliant site in Antwerp for an opportunity to be part of a high calibre project working with ambitious and likeminded scientists and engineers.
Job title: Scala Developer
Rate: 300-500euros per day Depending on experience
Location: Antwerp, Belgium
Contract Length: 12 months project/option to extend
Start Date: ASAP
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Scala Developer for ConSol Partners' client work within a team of high calibre engineers and Data scientists with the opportunity to work on big-data streaming frameworks, data analysis and visualization tools, machine learning algorithms, architecture management, etc. You will have the opportunity to be active in many parts of the code with principal focus on, but not limited to, Back End Scala microservices.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have the following
- Expert knowledge of Scala/Java is required 5+ years
- Functional programming is a must (Scala, Java 8, Haskell)
- Technical ability & strong knowledge of Scala
- Knowledge & of Linux.
- Familiar with Akka, Cassandra, Kafka, Angular Js
- Experience with Python is a plus
- Master in Computer Science, Applied Engineering
