Scala Developer

SCALA DEVELOPER

Currently looking for an experienced Scala developer with knowledge of or experience with infrastructure. Also it is important this person has the ability of becoming a technical lead. You will be working in a team with 3 other Scala developers. Your responsibilities include run through planning with the system administrator and support other dev's.

Main skills:

- Support devs with configuration and development (and deployment).
- Extend and creating strategic plan on further production extention
- General knowledge of sysadmin (and know when to call in specialists eg security)
- Problem solver
- Program experience: Scala developer
- Configuration and deployment

Infrastructure experience with the following components:

- Docker
- Docker Swarm
- Jenkins
- Nexus
- nginx
- Linux OS
- Logging
- IP stack
- Processig
- installing on high end Servers
- JVM ( not exact Java more JVMs )
- TCP IP
- Nagios
- Maven/SBT
- OSPF
- VRRP
- Detailed TCP/IP knowledge
- Cisco IOS

Start: 01-08-2015 (sooner is also possible).

Duration: 12 months+

Location: Utrecht
