SCALA CONTRACT ROLE - MUNICH - UP TO €90/HR

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Scala Freelancer, to work on one of the biggest advertising platforms in Germany. My client is about to undergo an ambitious project, which involves a complete overhaul of their Internet platform and programme in Scala in order to Scale horizontally their platform and development process into a more open platform.

YOUR ROLE will require you to scale out my clients platform using Scala and Java, with the end aim being to grow my clients marketplace further. You will be heavily involved among cross-functional teams building scalable systems, leading to the complete overhaul of the current platform. Working in a Hand-on role you will be leading the current agile development team, using technologies such as Scala and Amazon web services. You will be involved in the development of the whole infrastructure, an exciting project indeed being involved within in the whole life cycle of the platform.

YOU'RE PROFILE

- Several years of Java/Scala Development
- Preference to have JavaScript, HTML, CSS, alongside with relevant frameworks such as Angular, React, Backbone etc.
- Strong experience with Responsive/adaptive web Design.
- Experience with Amazon Web services is a plus
- English speaking position
