SC Risk Manager - Swindon

C RISK MANAGER - SWINDON - 3 MONTHS INITIAL CONTRACT

Our client is currently recruiting a Risk Manager to join their team based in Swindon. This is a contract role, with an initial 3 month duration (highly likely to be extended).

The ideal candidate will have experience with major service contracts, ideally in the Defence sector, but alternatively within other government areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the identification, capture, analysis and management of risks, issues and opportunities relating to delivery of the project. The Risk Manager will support the Transition Manager in ensuring the client and their customer programme risks are controlled and reported upon. This will be achieved using Active Risk Manager (ARM) as the customers preferred delivery tool.

The role holder must have developed communication and diplomacy skills with a strong ability to persuade and influence client and stakeholder relationships. The Risk Manager is specifically accountable for ensuring that risks are contained to an acceptable level, defining how the Risk Management procedure should be tailored and any supporting systems configured.

QUALIFICATIONS

. PRINCE2 (essential)

. MS Project experienced user (essential)

. ARM experienced user (essential)

. ITIL v3 experience (desirable)
