SC & DV CLEARED* LEAD PROCUREMENT/CONTRACT MANAGER - BIDS, DEFENCE, OGC MODEL CONTRACTS, EXPORT CONTROL LAWS, ITAR

BASINGSTOKE, HAMPSHIRE

A great opportunity to work for a global outsourcing organisation who are urgently seeking an SC Cleared* Lead Procurement Manager to work in Basingstoke, Hampshire on an initial 3 month contract. Able to work in Basingstoke on a full time basis with some travel to Cheltenham also required. Must be flexible as timelines are fluid.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Own the commercial relationship between the company, its strategic partner and other key subcontractors/SME's.
- Create the Subcontractor statement of work & working closely with the solution leads
- Negotiate directly with the end customer and other subcontractors to achieve the necessary back to back agreement with the Prime contract between the Authority and our client.
- Working closely with the opportunity commercial lead, provide input and guidance into the bids, in particular on scope, requirements and commercial terms.
- Identify and evaluate issues and risks.
- Act as the facilitator between key subcontractors and our client, ensuring the timely review and approval on the end customer's inputs so that they merge into our client's governance timetable and processes.

SKILLS:

- Extensive experience of negotiating large, complex and strategic material sub contracts on a back to back basis with Prime
- Extensive experience negotiating OGC Model Contracts.
- Experience of working in the Defence sector
- Familiar with Export Control Laws eg ITAR
- Customer facing experience.
