EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: This is an exciting opportunity for a SC Cleared Service Manager, to join one of Steria's government clients. You will have the responsibility for the specification, evaluation and monitoring of Service Levels within the government clients' agreement. This is a 6 month assignment based in Hemel Hempstead.

Reporting to the Service Management and Improvement Executive, the Service Level Manager has the responsibility for the specification, evaluation and monitoring of Service Levels within the Steria's government clients' agreement. This includes the organised structured introduction of Service Level changes into the account and the validation of supporting third party SLA/OLA agreements where applicable and other services as allocated by the Service Management and Improvement Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for managing SLA conformance within the account; Provide timely SLA forecasting and reporting within Steria and with the customer.
- Carry out regular Service Reviews with the customer.
- To understand Steria's contractual obligations to the customer and the associated service level/service credit regime.
- To approve or escalate the payment of Service Credits and put action plans in place where necessary to reduce payments.
- To manage any Service Improvements in regards to the Service level Management process........

Key Skills and Experience Required:

- Prior experience in a Service Level Manager role within a large managed service account being delivered into a major government department according to ITIL principles
- Previous experience of the management of significant third party suppliers specifically around Network Services provision, and Break/Fix provision, and a good understanding of the typical Service Level regime surrounding such subcontracts
- Service Management and Service Reporting experience
- The ability to identify internal reporting needs, to further analyse trends and be proactive in ensuring that service levels achieved remain high
- The ability to work with customer staff at a senior level, to build strong relationships at this level, and to be a credible representative for the Steria operation
- The ability to chair and run customer meetings
- ITIL accreditation, and an understanding of the requirements of ISO 20000
- High level understanding of HMG Security Requirements

Due to the nature of the Client and work, we do require SC cleared candidates, who have used their SC clearance within the last 6 months.
