ROLE: SC CLEARED - SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

LOCATION: STOCKPORT

DURATION:6+ Months Initially with possible extension

ROLES DESCRIPTION:

- VFMB team is to develop and cost an implementable solution that must:
- Enable a comparison with industry solutions to demonstrate the potential additional value provided by an in-house solution
- Enable an understanding of the potential overall value provided by moving to an industry based solution rather than an in-house solution
- Be a fully implementable solution so that in the event that it is determined that the VFMB represents a Best for Defence solution then it is capable of being implemented in order to deliver the efficiencies identified in the Corporate Services Review.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

- Shared services - finance, HR and procuremment
- Programme Management
- Business cases and analytical skills
- Organisational modelling & design

DESIRABLE:

- Support the development of the future dbs vfmb in line with departmental rules to ensure the agreed solution is the best value for money for mod
- Conduct detailed analysis on the vfmb in parallel with the commercial options
- Support the production of the vfmb input to the main gate business case
- Engage and work with key stakeholders on delivering the vfmb
- Support and implement as appropriate the fdbs communications plan

- Develop and deliver vfmb option plan including:
- Transformation proposals
- Costings
- Implementation plan
