SC Cleared Safety Engineer required for a large company within the defence sector.

SC Cleared Safety Engineer must have experience within working in an IT environment.

SC Cleared Safety Engineer has the opportunity to work on a long term assignment with the potential to be extended.

SC Cleared Safety Engineer must be able to do the following;

- Review of new tasking for safety assessment;
- Review and safety assessment of Change Requests and Defects;
- Undertaking analysis of new functionality;
- Participation in Engineering Reviews;
- Advising internally on MOD safety policies;
- Liaison with the Governance and Design Teams;
- Participation in internal and customer Safety Panel/Working Group meetings;
- Examination of potential safety risks;
- Creation of safety strategies and plans;
- Design of safety aspects of the emerging solution;
- Safety options assessment;
- Maintenance of existing safety documentation.
