SC Cleared Project Manager

SC Cleared Project Manager required to work in Taunton on a 12 month contract initially.

Candidates should have demonstrable experience of project managing one of the following:
* Core infrastructure upgrade and refresh
* Transition of Legacy web services into a hosted IAAS environment using the Microsoft Azure platform
* Upgrade and replacement of core IT service delivery, support and management processes and tools such as configuration and asset management, estate wide CMDB, operations management, capacity management etc using the Microsoft toolset and Solarwinds
* Implementation of an enterprise wide portfolio management toolset such as Microsoft EPM
* Software Development projects within an Agile/SCRUM environment, with both internal development teams and 3rd party suppliers

Responsibilities of the Project Manager will include:
* Creation and management of the business case, including clear cost/benefit identification and analysis.
* Creation and management of robust project plans to deliver to agreed time, quality and cost parameters.
* Day to day management of the project's resources to ensure tasks are implemented on time, on budget and to the required scope and quality, including design and requirements.
* Management of the production of the project's products
* Management of the governance and control processes including risk and issue management, progress reporting, change control, etc.

Candidates should also have experience of:
* Experience of managing and implementing business critical projects.
* Capable of engaging senior stakeholders
* Credibility and character to manage a diverse team in a Matrix environment.
* Knowledge and experience of implementing project management processes, methods and tasks.
* Capable of developing and maintaining strong working relationships with project team members, business side resource and third party suppliers.
* Knowledge of IT development methods and techniques
