SC Cleared Information Assurance Accreditor - London

SC Cleared Information Assurance Accreditor required for a Government Client based London.

To act as an impartial assessor:

Assessing the IA risks that an information system may beexposed to in the course of meeting the business requirement.

Accepting risks within the agreed risk appetite on behalf of Information Asset Owners

Escalating risks beyond the agreed risk appetite to the relevant Information Asset Owner.

Being responsible for formally accrediting systems on behalf of the client in accordance with HMG IA policies and standards.

Maintain Accreditation throughout the life cycle of aninformation system, from inception to decommissioning.

Provide authoritative advice and guidance on Informationassurance strategies to manage identified risks, interpreting HMG information security and assurance policies as required.

Essential:

You will be a qualified HMG IA Accreditor (eg HMG national school of Government Accreditor certificate or ITPC Accreditor certification).

You will possess strong communications, relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills.

You will have an analytical and creative approach to problemsolving.

You will have a general understanding of central governmentdepartment ICT systems and policies.

You will have an understanding of ICT related technology (not necessarily a deep technical knowledge); to understand their business environment and how physical, technical, procedural and personnel security can be used to reduce risk to an acceptable level.

You will have a good knowledge and understanding of HMG IAstandards and how they apply to ICT systems.
