EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY:

This is an exciting new opportunity for an [SC Cleared] Database Developer with Data Warehousing experience to work in a secure environment on an initial 6 month assignment for one of Steria's most prestigious Government clients.

This is an interesting and challenging role, the client needs to change the current reporting solution and you will be responsible for ensuring the database design meets the requirements for the Management Information Systems' solution.

On client's instructions, due to the urgency, nature and length of the assignment, the successful candidate must have current security clearance to SC level. Please only apply if you have current and transferable SC clearance. This role complies with national security vetting requirements.

The candidate will have a flexible working ethic as some on call work will be required as part of this role.

Essential Skills:
Currently a Database Developer with solid data warehousing experience
Expert in database housekeeping techniques, Scripting and performance tuning
Able to write SQL and assist the development team with database related issues.
You must be able to code, guide and be hands on as well.
Experience in packaging Oracle code for release purposes.
Experience in Version Control and Configuration Management practices for controlled environments.
Knowledge of Oracle 10g or 11g database
Knowledge of TOAD and SQL Developer
Excellent communication, attention to detail and documentation skills
