SC Cleared Commercial Officer

We are currently seeking SC Cleared Commercial Officer who will be responsible to Team Leader and will be required to support a number of Commercial Managers, within a team.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
Procurement systems input, drafting and progressing orders/contracts for Research which vary in degree of complexity, developing procurement strategies, application of legislation and policies.
Drafting appropriate tender documentation and running competitions using a variety of contracting vehicles.
Maintaining contact with Suppliers, resolving invoice queries, filing, customer/stakeholder relationships and engagement, and general ad-hoc supporting duties.

Skills/Experience Required
Delivery of high quality, best practise commercial solutions to agreed timescales.
Providing commercial advice and guidance to stakeholders in compliance with Public Procurement Regulations and the use of Government Frameworks.
Good interpersonal skills to build effective networks with stakeholders.
Excellent written and oral skills.
Effective management of contracts and solving day to day and more complex issues and queries.
Formal Qualifications Required
Certificate of Competence or MCIPS preferred
