Business Analyst (Ref: BA-JAN)

£450-550 per day

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for facilitating strategic business analysis activities, to determine strategic customer requirements to drive Business Improvement, Business Change and Technical development

* Applies a wide range of business analysis skills and techniques to investigate and solve a variety of complex problems. Includes strategic business analysis skills, business process analysis and business architecture

* Develops business modelling artefacts to drive strategic business/technical development to ensure business needs drive strategic plans

* Develop Business Change/Improvement plans and work with the business to implement and manage business change aligned to business needs and benefit

Stakeholder Management:

* Initiates and facilitates communications with a diverse set of senior stakeholders within the business, other Government departments and suppliers

Mandatory

* 5 to 10 years experience working in Business Analysis or Business Change role

* Experience of different strategic analysis techniques such as SWOT, PESTLE, Five Force Analysis

* Experience of modelling techniques/notations such as UML, Use Cases, Entity models, Data and Information Models, Process Models/Swim lane diagrams etc

* Use of relevant methodologies, such as UML, LEAN, Six Sigma or ITIL, as well as experience of working within a business change lifecycle/framework

* Experience of working in a structured Prince 2 project environment and the Agile approach to development

Highly Desirable:

* ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis and CBAP, CITP or CEng registration
