SC Cleared BA/Benefits Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced SC Cleared BA/Benefits Specialist who is required to undertake a review of and report on the non-financial benefits provided by the exploitation activities undertaken by client's technology transfer company.

The successful candidate should be experienced in appraising and evaluating the benefits arising from government projects and in particular the use of Treasury agreed methodologies. The current need in this resource is required to establish independence and credibility in any findings. The scope of this project is to capture and review the economic and wider benefits, outside pure financial returns, of the technology transfer activities undertaken. In particular, the project should aim to establish the Gross Value Added (GVA), the wider social impact such as to employment and knowledge transfer and the benefits. Finally, the project should establish a clear methodology for assessing the wider impact of current technology transfer activities and propose measures for impact going forward. 

Main Duties/Responsibilities
-Undertaking study and providing report.

Skills/Experience Required
-Experience of appraising and evaluating the benefits from government projects.
-Proven knowledge of methodologies for appraising benefits such as those set out in the Treasury Green Book.
-Experience and understanding of technology transfer activities.
-Prior work with Research Councils General assessment and consultancy skills
