For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a SBM Workflow Developer.

Role
The workflow automation specialist develops, within an Agile/Scrum team setting, business driven administrative workflow management applications.
These are based on business processes in a dynamic environment. Functioning in a small dedicated DevOps team in close cooperation with both internal stakeholders and end-users.
Innovation, Reliability and high quality solutions are key when it comes to software development. Test Driven Development, test automation, continues integration and continuous delivery are therefor always in scope of the projects that are in the hands of the Agile/Scrum teams. There is an intensive collaboration with other application management disciplines and the focus is Dev/Ops making the teams front-to-back responsible for their product.
For this purpose the client uses the Serena Business Manager (SBM) platform technology.

Tasks
Develop and test SBM based workflow applications.
Support for solving production disruptions, conducting research into the root cause and drafting amendments and/or improvements;

Skills
Minimal Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or comparable - Knock-out criteria
In depth knowledge in translating business processes into workflow solutions and technical integrations;
Experience with development of workflow applications for business purposes;
Experience with the Serena Business Manager application (Fourth Generation (4GL) programming environment);
Accustomed to perform business analysis and software development as parts of the same role in a team setting;
Hands-on mentality;
Communicative and collaborative;
Experience with Agile/Scrum development method;
Team player who is able to communicate well with all parties involved;
Experience in Banking Sector and transaction processing is preferred.
Analytical skills;
Dutch and or English communication skills (verbally & written).
